Acoustic Suspension Design in a Tiny Cabinet
At just 9" x 5" x 5.5", the SuperZero 2.0 is small. Really small. Unlike most small speakers, which try to fool you with boomy, pseudo-bass from a port, the SuperZero 2.0's acoustic suspension (sealed) enclosure skips the bass and focuses on making beautiful, lifelike midrange and high frequencies. Just like the original.

The Magic Box
The build quality is stunning too. The compact, well-braced cabinet is naturally strong and stout. Stronger than larger boxes. As a result, it doesn’t have to deal with the box vibrations that interfere with the critical midrange performance of its big-boy counterparts. The speaker's narrow front face is almost all speaker, so there's no wide baffle to interfere and interact with the SuperZero 2.0's output.
More than a Remake
No mere re-make, the SuperZero 2.0 makes some subtle improvements to the original SuperZero design. Sporting a faster tweeter roll-off, this small crossover change significantly lowers the tweeter's distortion while improving power handling, and makes the SuperZero 2.0 sound even better than the original.
The SuperZero sports a high-quality, 4.5" long-throw pulp cone woofer and 1" silk dome tweeter which utilizes a precision under-hung motor design that keep the voice coil in the magnetic sweet spot throughout its travel. A phase-aligned, 2nd order crossover (12 dB/octave) is there for both the midrange and tweeter. This crossover is at 2K, lower than the original SuperZero point thanks to the steeper cutoff filter which provide improved power handling, lower distortion and better spatial performance than the original. If you loved the SuperZero, you'll want a pair of the 2.0's and considering the low price, everyone can afford the best.
High Gloss Finish
The SuperZero is finished in a beautiful black gloss laminate. Its grill is removable for those moments when you want to light candles and listen at the apex. The speaker can be easily wall or ceiling mounted using an Omnimount 10.0 bracket screwed into its 1/4"-20 threaded back panel insert. It also features real big boy 1/2" 5-way binding posts that can accept bare wire, BFA's, spade s, or banana plugs.
